Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
They are $1.25 so 5 of them would be $6.25 which is a very comparable price without needing to go to the store for them.
They're $1.25 at Dollar Tree. I said Dollar General. If it's worth $1.98 to you to not make a stop when it seems like there are more DGs than gas stations, have at it.

I KNOW what you said and looked it up. Dollar general has then priced at $1.25
Even on the high end, there's barely any sodium (100 mg), potassium (110 mg), and caffeine (80mg). I get these are cheap, but IMO Zipfizz is a much better alternative and overall cheaper (especially when Costco has them on sale).
Maltodextrin being the 2nd ingredient is a huge red flag. Maltodextrin is higher on the glycemic index than table sugar.
Basically it will spike your blood sugar levels worse than sugar while saying it's sugar free.
On a gram per gram basis this may be true but there are like 200mg of maltodextrin in this and the drink is sweeter than a 16.9oz drink with 30g of sugar. These are fine but I wouldn't drink more than one or two in a day. It's much better than drinking a full sugar equivalent drink if your stomach can handle it. I personally drink these in 32oz of water rather than the 16.9oz of water it recommends.
