No modification needed if you get the right XT60i cable [a.co](<<< NEW LINK), it has to be grounded to the negative with the center connector. The 12v cable that is designed to go into the cigarette Auto plug is limited to just 8A to not overload the circuit. It's grounded to the positive on the XT60i and this tells the PowerStation to limit the charging. Just be sure the cable you get is the right one or it will only charge at around 110W instead of 240 (River 2 Max) or whatever the limit is on solar input.

On a serious note, has anybody found what group this battery belongs in. Can't find any info on size and really can't go measure my battery with the boat in storage.

A another poster mentioned that the metal one is stackable and has less voltage differential between cells. Perhaps the cells are better quality? (Pure speculation).

I really don't know, what battery is the fence using now?
These are meant to store energy generated from solar, or from a charger and used to power things like a trolling motor and an inverter.

I think that may be incorrectly specified. The actual battery dimensions are more inline with a larger Group sized battery.

That works for me as well, I believe my boats battery compartment holds group 31.

Great co and great battery. Almost wish I had of seen this deal myself as I think the size maybe almost the same? I just installed a pair of the 100 ah in my power chair to replace 75ah lead acid batteries however I was personally trying to decrease the weight of my power chair. Something that may not be a consideration depending on the installation location but these batteries will weigh less then the older batteries they are replacing. Have bought several different models from this provider so far and really happy with them. I started with some smaller 10ah that are in some ups and then 20ah that are in different mobility scooters. However I really love the big battery that have the Bluetooth bms just like these 150ah though my battery are only 100ah the bms gives great details direct to my phone.

Don't do it. My bro-in-law collects and sells golf carts. He tried to use lithium and he said they sucked compared to lead acid batteries. He brings them to a weekend event and they always run the whole weekend w/o a problem. The one w/ the lithium's were dead after 1 day. Don't think they work well for golf carts, but maybe someone else w/ experience running them in a cart can have more feedback.

I use this for my trolling motor and couldn't be happier. 8 hrs running it here and there and spot locking in 5-10mph winds and the lowest it ran was down to 62% full. That's awesome in my book! I have another 100ah for running my electronics on on board stuff...
