And I just got rid of the bestbuy box. I like the sandstorm but this is doubling as a work laptop and the black is more low key. Prob not worth the hassle of setting it up again.
edit
my bad I didn't notice is has different specs!

The BBY version appears more powerful w/ Ryzen 7735 and dGPU 7700s

For the $120 difference, the 7600s is about between the 4050 and 4060. The 7700s at BB is between the 4060 and 4070, on the lower side.

The best buy A16 is better. This processor doesn't have an iGPU so it'll use more power quicker since you have to use the graphics card, whereas the best buy A16 can use the lower power iGPU.

I see this a lot. Looking at the benchmarks, the BB A16 Tuf is between the 3060 and the 3070 laptop GPUs on the lower side, around the 4060 laptop GPU. Still, especially if you can score a well-priced open box (I got a "fair" in mint condition because they didn't have the original retail box), excellent value when you compare the specs between how the A16 is specced, screen quality, etc. and the comps.

Should be fine for all 1080p gaming in the medium term that is where you probably want to be with this screen size. If you're looking for more resolution, you really should be looking at desktops or wait until the next console refresh, imho.

Certainly better than the 7600s.

I am a happy owner of the BB A16. Just the perfect blend of $/value/looks for something I can work on or game on, with portability. Biggest drawback is the weight, but if you want a real gaming laptop you must take on more weight.

Let me know how it turns out. Believe that Acer one has onboard video along with the discrete graphics so the battery life should be okay. Also, in the thread for that one somebody mentioned it has an extra slot for a SSD (512GB isn't enough if you want to install a few games these days but that's what a lot of these laptops come with). I mean plus this is Slickdeals and that one is $100 cheaper.
