This is tanking so bad compared to the 2019 version and the new Sonic movie, that Disney has no other choice but to offer such discounts to get people to watch it lol.

Worked for me. I was able to use the same amc stubs account on two different Fandango accounts to save on the service fees.

Brought IMAX down to $5.50 for me on Tuesday.

I've noticed the activity on these SD threads featuring movie tickets (like the T-mobile Tuesday /Atom deals ) are very good predictors of the box office results.

I get what you're saying but it's not always a good predictor. Sonic 3 recently had the $5 per tix T-Mobile promotion.. And it has been killing it at the Box Office as was previous movies in the series.

I went to watch at AMC and last minute my wife couldnt join. Fandango wouldnt let me cancel online. I had paid around $8 for each ticket after stubs tuesdays discount, waived booking fees and $7 promo credit.

After the movie I went to the manager and told her what happened and she offered to refund the ticket to an AMC gc (I was fairly sure this would happen based on my past scamdango endeavors). The value given was what I paid plus the $7 mufasa promo. So I ended up getting 4 IMAX 3D tickets for around $25

And if you arent aware, there is a glitch currently giving 2 years of AMC stubs premiere for $15. Lets just say I renewed a couple times. and when you buy AMC via fandango with your stubs account number in fandango profile, you earn BOTH fandango rewards and AMC stubs rewards on each purchase, so you get to double dip on the rewards.

The fandango/amc thing isn't a hack. Fandango lets theater reward programs link to them.
