It's made of 100% petroleum based materials, which are super cheap to produce, and it's manufactured in a 3rd world country, and it's on sale for $64. At this point, you're buying a brand. Super hard pass. You can get much better quality and way cheaper at Costco or Marshalls.

Agree. He has no idea what he's talking about. Nothing at Costco or marshals comes close to lululemon. Of course they produce it overseas for cheap most clothing brands do. But they don't produce it as cheaply as Marshalls garbage

To add to this Marshall's and TJs stop selling overstock long ago. Large brands are directly producing lower tier stuff and selling it direct at these bargain bin places. I've seen the same as Costco. A $20 banana republic merino wool sweater at Costco is NOT the same as a merino wool sweater at banana republic.

Do you have actual experience before you speak? Im not questioning your input but no one should talking about stuff they got no experience in. Imagine if we all google brain surgery and start spitting out knowledge like we are actually neuro surgeon

Deal is in the eye of the beholder... this would never be worth the MSRP. If you did a blind test, bet it wouldn't work. You're buying a logo at this point.

Is it true to size, or size up?

The quality, fit, and cut of Lululemon is better than a cheaper counterpart. A brand could make the same thing for cheap, they just don't or it's hard to find. Costco fit is made for a different audience, Lulu is more forward, typically slimmer, etc. This looks nice, but not cheap enough for me to bite.

Agree but the quality isn't what it was even just a few years ago

lol. lmao even.
It's polyester and nylon. Inexpensive materials and costs nothing to produce. You certainly are paying for the name. Nothing more. No wonder most of America doesnt have an emergency fund when they spend it on a $100 polyester sweater.

You should see what we have to spend on an Advil in a hospital

Except for the last part, I would say you are 90% right 👍

That goes for many things in the market. You pay for brand and design. A Rolex also doesn't cost $12-15k to manufacture. People don't buy these brands for value. They buy it to signal whatever they think the brand signals.

Not to get into the discussion if Lululemon is worth it or not, but if you're looking for very similar quality, fit and designs, check out VRST by Dick's. It's an unbelievable value brand, and I say that as someone who owns Lululemon and other more expensive brands like Tracksmith and Bandit.

I've bought VRST running shorts, socks, jackets, shirts and pants that cost less than $7 on sale, and I am beyond thrilled with them.
