I bought this on 12/20 for $19.98.

Thanks for the link to the recall! The model in the recall says HHP-715 and the one I got was HHG-68B-WMT. The recall said it came with 4 attachments and this one comes with 3. The recall said only units manufactured through the end of 2022 and earlier. My box has a date code of week 38 of 2024. Sounds like they had some issues with charging the Li-ion battery. This particular unit does not seem to be part of the recall but should still be careful charging Li-ion batteries in general.

Actually no. The recalled one has a different part number.

No, they could not legally sell it if it was.

I've been shopping for a good price/brand for these to helpfully alleviate some intermittent hip pain. I think this might fit the bill. Thanks OP!

My ex had a Theragun branded one of these which I think was very expensive and surely a higher end model… I've missed it so much but haven't wanted to spend the money. If this is even 50% of the relief that brought me, I'm beyond satisfied. In for one, thanks OP!

Need to know what you are doing if working on the spine with this machine. With the harder tip attachment, it's what D.O.'s use to do realignment after an accident/injury. Of course you need another person to do this for you, but fyi, go easy on vertebrae if you are just screwing around.
