Be careful getting Ultimate on eneba. I accidentally bought a "Ultimate account" key and they are not normal keys. Instead they are pre-made accounts. I threw away $44 for 2x 3 month "accounts". I was trying to get 2x 3 month Ultimate keys for my nephews x-mas present and bought the wrong damn thing.

Yeah there were better deals in the past, but those were too good to last.

~$8-9/month for Xbox GPU is still incredible value. I've got mine stacked out until 2027.

What was that trick that you could buy Xbox Gold for cheap then upgrade to Gamepass ultimate for less time and all your gold subscription would turn to Gamepass ultimate? I don't remember the specifics but does Microsoft still let you do that?

They still have that trick but it's not longer a 1 to 1 ratio. So if you have 12 months of just regular gold and upgrade to ultimate, it won't convert those 12 months to ultimate. I think it only converts like 2/3. It's some ratio where you definitely get less.

Thanks for the info. I did this 3 years ago and mine will be up for renewal in July. Grab a bunch of these gift cards or is the gold to ultimate still a better deal even without 1:1?

They renamed gold now it is the basic tier of gamepass. It is still a slightly better deal to upgrade to ultimate from that, but barely. It is somewhat risky to buy codes from a place like this and hold them for a significant amount of time, but you can use these to add more time to you account right now.

I did the turkey deal 2 years ago ... Anything similar out there? Xbox keeps changing their marketing so not sure. Hoping a resourceful fellow SD'er will chime in.

I just did the India conversion from Eneba but one of the keys were already used. I opened a ticket with them but… I'm not holding my breath as it hasn't moved in a few days. I've ordered a lot from them in the past and this is my first ever issue. The risks we take for gaming.

I heard on here that Microsoft was cracking down on that sort of thing. It's not losing your entire Xbox account and all the games to save a few bucks. $28 for 3 months / $112 for 1 year is pretty affordable.

For anyone asking if the conversion "deal" still works, yes but it's not nearly as good as in the past. You can stack Game Pass Core (formerly Xbox Live Gold) up to 3 years, then convert / upgrade into Ultimate at a 2:1 ratio. The best bang for buck on Core are usually 12 month codes.

I rarely pay attention to the cracking down stuff. More often than not it's scare tactics. Of course, Xbox isn't that important to me, and I go through phases of playing, and don't own any games linked to my Xbox account so no risk really. I probably should just buy flight sim since it's the only game I consistently play. All others will play maybe few weeks before forgetting about it, so a trial membership every year suits me
