Be careful getting Ultimate on eneba. I accidentally bought a "Ultimate account" key and they are not normal keys. Instead they are pre-made accounts. I threw away $44 for 2x 3 month "accounts". I was trying to get 2x 3 month Ultimate keys for my nephews x-mas present and bought the wrong damn thing.

Can someone tell me if this trick still works: if I load 12 months core and then this 3 months premium would it convert to total of 12+3=15 premium, or it would convert to 12/3+3=9 premium?

Read the thread... other people have basically asked the same question. Core to Ultimate conversion is only 2:1 now. So for 12 months Core, you'll only end up with 6 months Ultimate.

I don't have a gaming PC -- just a MacBook -- and I really don't play games anymore, but I bought one of these the last time they went on sale and played both the new Indiana Jones game and the Black Ops 6 single-player campaign--the two newish games I was actually interested in.
I was pretty impressed with the performance, and you can't beat playing like $100 worth of games that I don't even have a computer to play for <$30 total. Nice deal.

Personally I just go to ebay and buy 12months of ultimate for $100. The trick is you are buying xbox ultimate from india. The guy gives you the codes and you just redeem by using a vpn and redeeming the codes while connected to a location in India via the vpn.

I did one of those with Brazil and it changed my whole account over to Brazil/Spanish, took me months with email xbox support and dealing with escalation after escalation for them to change back my account to english and allow me to purchase things in my region, so never again! They told me not to use other region codes cause the system detected it was from Brazil and changed to match the region, and if it happens again they wont help. It was also LOCKED to that region no matter how many times i went to switch it in my account back to US, which is why I had to open the escalations and make countless phone calls which took forever to find someone who knew what they were doing to fix the problem.

That sucks, not sure why you ran into issues. I just bought a key from G2A that was India specific. Used a VPN to make it look like I was in India and a fresh browser session. Logged in and added the key with no issues. Did not change my region settings on my account or anything.

Anytime I've switched over to different regions, I never had a problem going back to my US location.

After that nightmare never again, not worth losing my account of many years, or the hassle of of months long back and forth to save a few bucks. Good luck to you guys, but when it does happen, pray you are able to find someone to help cause it took forever.

Game Pass codes don't expire. But I advise against saving any codes bought from CD Keys or Eneba because they are reseller sites. Neither online store gets their codes directly from Microsoft.

The 2:1 conversion only works for new or expired Ultimate subscriptions. For active Ultimate subs, the conversion rates are worse. The link I posted before has all the conversion rates.
