I have a refurb L10S Ultra that I've had for about 9 months. It's been pretty good but I did have to recently make a repair myself (wiring harness to a wheel motor broke) but I could have warrantied it. I've heard that Dreame tech support is hot garbage which is why I elected to attempt the repair myself (and succeeded).

My unit did come looking basically brand new though. It has helped keep our floors much cleaner. I could definitely tell things were getting dirtier when the unit was out of commission for a month.

If you are worried about pet hair, Roborock simply rocks.. the dual roller is fantastic! No brush and entanglement.

Bought an l20 ultra as bf deal and am happy with it. Have 2 kids don't always have time to pick up their toys. Kitchen gets dirty with crumbs and stuff. The vac/mop has avoided obstacles and also can do a vac before mop when things get dirty post dinner. I think if we didn't have kids or pets a less capable product would be fine but we wanted the lidar and camera for object avoidance. We also have some high rugs in our kitchen and it does a good job with figuring out the transitions too.

Better warranty than roborock new. Just bought the Q Revo Pro on BF sale. This would have saved me $100 for the same features and with open firmware. Kinda hurts a little.

I like the roborock. Performs great. But if it ever breaks I'm F'ed sideways. They don't even sell replacrment filters on their site. They told me to order from alibaba in China.

Can you set zones that need mopping and zones that should not be mopped? My place has carpet except for the kitchen and bathroom so want to mop there and nowhere else.

I have the same question. I watched the video and it looked like it would skip over carpet but I would like it to mop and vacuum in one go. Does anyone know if you have to manually remove the mopping attachment to vacuum carpet or can you just specify what room is carpet and what is hardwood/tile and tell it to do one at a time? I'll be upgrading from a Roborock s5 max

I bought a refurb L20 then a couple of months later I got a refurb x30. Both were brand new sealed in the box. Some on here are asking for a comparable Robo Rock. You would need one that has a V in the robot name, as those are like the Dreame with lidar and camera obstacle avoidance. Both are a must. CES is coming in a few weeks so all these models will be obsolete ish. All of the Dreame from L20 to x40 have the same obstacle avoidance, although the L20 seems to be a tad better in mine and reviewers experience. The best for obstacle avoidance is now the Narwal Freo Z with two cameras instead of just one, and lidar.
