Okay thanks. I still have a physical SIM so should have no worries either. Thanks Do you know if Cricket allows early unlocking for foreign travel? Meaning if I gave this new phone to family member intending to keep it on Cricket service anyway for next year, but we travel to foreign country 3 months from now and want to use a travel eSIM for a week, are we screwed because phone is locked for 6 mos?

Looks like their only exception for early unlock is with proof of deployment.

Okay thanks. Would just have to keep the old iPhone hanging around rather than selling it, which I guess is possible. But then she would need to switch back to the old phone for the trip and back to the new one after in terms of her iPhone account and data

If your looking to trade in at an apple store the metropcs deal is better. Its $99 for the iphone 13 plus $75 for first month plan, from what I can see your not obligated to pay for more months and should be able to trade it in for $250 at apple.

I am a Cricket customer, I got 2 iphone 13, for $99 each, also they gave me a discount on the plan, $20 for each plan, I paid in total $256 for both iphone 13 with plan out the door, so $128 each iphone 13 with 30 day service, not a bad deal !

So let's say I do 7 months of Cricket with the above math for $270 total for the service, and $100 for iphone 13, then I subtract $105 for 7 months of the $15 monthly service I have now. The net price for the phone is $265. Do you think iphone 13 for $265 is good price? If so, I may jump on this.
and tax?

Did anyone mention the referral credit you can get? If you use someone's referral (during activation), you get $25 credit in two months. If you get someone to use your referral, you get $25 credit once their phone has been active for two months. You only need two people to use your referral code to get to the 6 months to unlock the phone.

I am planning to keep the phone probably for a year or so (I have an iPhone 12). I am currently paying $25 per month ($50 for two lines) at Metro by T-Mobile. With Metro, six months of service for the two lines is $300. So, six months of service with Cricket for the two lines to get the phones unlocked is $450 (first two months of service for the first line is $120 + $90 for the second line + $30 monthly for 4 months for 2 lines = $240). The difference is 150 ($75 each). Therefore, each phone will cost me $174.99 (plus tax, I guess). If I can get a referral, as BrassGolemt mentioned in the previous post, I can get a $25 credit. In my case, it doesn't seem to be a bad deal. What do you guys think?

$30 for 4 months is limited service. Do you have that now? It slows way down after the data cap.

I have basically the same plan with Metro. In addition, I work from home, so I am connected to my Wi-Fi all day long. I don't really use network data.

A quick update. I hope someone can answer the question at the end.

I decided to purchase two phones today at 10:00 PM EST, because the system was charging me less than yesterday (see next explanation). The system charged me $99.99 for each phone, for the first line I was charged only $30 ($60 with a $30 discount) and for the second line I was charged $60 (Total: 304.98 with taxes). Yesterday, when I was processing the order, the system was charging me $99.99 for each phone, $120 for the first line (for two months of service) and $90 for the second line ($30 discount provided when you have two lines on the $60 plan – Total: $409.98 without taxes). So, I believe that today, I was charged for only one month of service on the $60 plan. I remember a comment posted by @Texas-Smokey, in which he indicated that because he is a customer, he received a $20 discount for each plan/two lines, and he was eligible for the promotion with only one month of service. Do you guys think that I was charged for only a month of service? Would I be able to downgrade to the $30 plan for the second month of service without affecting the promotion eligibility? What should I do, any idea?

Thanks in advance!
