Way overpriced as usual. You can get a 65" LG G3 for less than the price of a 55" and definitely a G4 for less than the price of Sony's 65"

I'm talking about $1900, the current average price. Now the real issue is finding stock at all. I think they made way more C3s than G3s.

There was a similar deal about a few weeks back on eBay for the 65 in $ 2,499 so sales are def starting to pop up on these tv's

My guess is Sony may finally be looking to replace the king of TVs. Make no mistake this things is the #1 TV for sale. I've been hunting for a deal on this below $4000 since it came out so this is perfect. Will it likely get cheaper, yes. Will you be able to snag a return or a display model for like $2500 at some point, yes. In reality I doubt this thing will drop below $3500 on a mass market sale before the replace it. So if you want to hunt for that lottery winning Best Buy close out be my guest but honestly this is a very good deal for what it is.
Now the $2400 LG G4 absolutely destroys this deal on quality per $, 95% as good as the Sony for 66% of the price.... But that is the Sony tax and those of us who need the Sony will always pay it...

S90D was going for 1600 this BF, no way this is over 2x more, unless DV is worth 2200 to you..

I second that. Agreed Sony A95L or LG G4/C4 are best but Samsung S90D is not too far behind these OLEDs to justify double the price.

Getting closer. I may be a buyer at $3500. Crazy that a 2023 OLED is still going for this much but this 2023 Sony Flagship tv is actually better than their current Mini LED 2024 flagship tv. For 2024 Sony abandoned OLED betting on Mini LED. However, it's still not as good. DV isn't the only thing the Sony Bravia OLED has going for it. In addition to using the same Quantum Dot tech that Samsung uses. It also has superior color accuracy and processing. It's built in speakers are also extremely good for built ins eliminating the need for a sound bar in a small to medium sized room. I hope they bring back an OLED successor in 2025. But i think Micro LED may be the next wave.
IMHO, 77" Samsung 90D < 77" LG G4 < 77"Sony Bravia 95L < 83" LG G4
