Thanks, I went with Armada by Ernest Cline as I liked Ready Player One and Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett as it had good reviews and a blurb from Brandon Sanderson. As for recommendations, I would say the Themis Files trilogy by Sylvain Neuvel, but annoyingly the 2nd and 3rd book are part of the sale, but the 1st isn't 😔

Not in the sale but Book 6 in the Expanse is twice as much as the other books. It's worth a full credit cost wise.

I'll be finishing up book 2 shortly and have all the others and novellas collected but books 4 & 5. Was gonna wait to start listening to them when I'm in a chair or bed ridden, but started listening to it while I clean a building. So far so good.

These aren't really "deals." They are just trying to entice folks to stay subscribed. I still have about 25 books in my queue from a couple years of free trials. During the free trials I listen to all the free audiobook content and save the books I buy with credits until after I cancel. Every once in a while when I'm on a free trial I may buy a book or two that is heavily discounted.

This one is a bit worse than most of the previous 2 for 1 credit sales. They usually include at least enough Audible exclusives and items with more than double digit # of reviews to make it worth it and easy to find options - very slim this time around. They also have more mid-series options than usual instead of offering book #1/#2 in a series like they usually do that make it worth it to start a new series. This is the first time in a long time there is not a pair I'm willing to burn a credit on.
Granted - I mostly stick to Audible exclusives because 95% of the non-exclusives are available to me for free from my local digital library via Overdrive/Libby.

I tried to get into that series but I just don't understand the concept of basically listening to a video game. I can see how it might appeal to a lot of people but I found it a bit tiresome at a certain point.

This is exactly what I do. I also check Libby so that I don't redeem a credit for a book that is readily available from my local library via Libby.
