Any opinions on this headset? My Steelseries wired headset recently broke, and I am looking for a new one. I heard wireless can be a pain, but so is wired. Not sure what the best kind to get is. I am also not sure which is the best brand. This deal was a part of a Frontpage deal from the beginning of the month. (link here) I also noticed (not sure if it is YMMV) that eBay says free overnight shipping for this headset.

I have this (in black) and it's really good. Battery life is amazing and it switches back and forth between my PC and my phone very easily with a button! Definitely my best headset over the years.
When paired with PS5, do these have legitimate 7.1 surround sound?
No, i was trying to get them to work on PS5 as well and even contacted Logitech support about it. They told me that PS5 do not support onboard memory. So youre left with PS5 and in game sound settings. They still do sound decently, for $125 they are worth it.

I've had these for about a year now, and its an awesome headset with great battery life and solid sound quality. The mic is decent but nothing special—it would be considered subpar if you paid full price. As for the Logitech G Hub software, it can be hit or miss based on your preferences. Not the best program and also not the worst.

I have the previous model. Be careful flexing it open - the plastic brackets are very weak/poorly designed. I had both shatter fairly early and ended up drilling holes and riveting it at the right size. The earmuff material is cheap and will flake/fray at some point. I'm guessing those problems will be consistent since it doesn't look like they redesigned the general body. Otherwise they still perform well after a few years regular use.

Heads up that Logitech, despite their promises, never implemented advanced EQ for these. The stock sound is OK, but you can't fix it to sound even better the way you can with, for example, the A50 X, by using advanced parametric EQ. They give you five useless, narrow-banded sliders to adjust, but you're better off not messing with them. So if you don't like the stock sound, you're kind of out of luck on console.
