Is this OK for a "game drive"? I have a 512 for OS drive and used a 256GB laying around for my game drive - which is now full. I can't believe how much storage modern games use...

thank you. but now i got more questions, looking up tlc vs. qlc, it says tlc should have higher endurance. and yet the product specs show the qlc has 1500 MTBF vs the 1000 MTBF on the tlc. shouldn't the specs be reversed?

TLC and QLC mainly affects the TBW (Total Bytes Written) rating. The CX2 (TLC) is rated for 1600 TBW while the QX2 is rated for 690 TBW.

Is the + 32GB USB drive free? If so, that piece may be done; price is same though.

I have a 4TB QX drive and there is hardly any cache in them. Small file transfers are ok but transferring anything larger than a 1 GB file and the sucker would slow down from 250MB/s to less than 10MB/s. Slower than a HD.
