Disclaimer: this is an extreme YMMV. I realize I'll probably get downvoted because of that, but I have a serious question to ask.
Deal: Logitech MX Keys Mini keyboard at Staples B&M on clearance for $35.46. First recycle a battery to get the $10 off $30 coupon, then purchase this keyboard with a coupon. $35.46 - $10 coupon = $25.46 + tax. Box says it's black color. Bluetooth (allows you to connect up to 3 devices). USB-C charging cable included. Backlit, in case anyone cares.

My serious question: I see that the clearance tag (printed on 12/04/2024, says that the price is $35.46, "Save $54.53, was $89.99"), also says "Was Price as of 02/03/2024". Does that mean that this keyboard was on clearance price since 02/03/2024? I passed through the Staples keyboard aisle a few times this year, & I don't remember seeing this keyboard on clearance there.
Another serious question: when a product like this goes on clearance at a store (with that final $xx.46 price), does that mean that the entire region (entire state? Nation?) will have this clearance price, too? So perhaps another person (in another state) can walk into their Staples, go right to the keyboard aisle, and have this keyboard scanned to get this clearance price as well?
Ok, now downvote away!

This is a unicorn, not a YMMV. Online clearance pricing is good for all of us, but it's a crapshoot at a store.
AFAIK, there is no regional or national in-store clearance pricing code or agreements between stores on pricing. I can go a few miles to find the same thing is not on clearance at the other store.
Updated: Some believe this is not true and I can believe that some clearance is either regional or national but not advertised. See this thread where the OP (SUCHADEAL) says I was wrong (despite my local managers telling me this info and my personal experience varying)...

Several SD'ers have been able to duplicate this one for TP!
One tip: You can politely ask the manager on duty if they can do better than any item's clearance tag price. Can't hurt to ask. They sometimes will be able to, based on the circumstances. Less likely for tech though.

I think this KB was mentioned on SD a few times for around $50.

I like this newer keyboard (I've been using several K380 units for 7 years, now), but I miss the dedicated "Back" and "Home" keys on the K380 (I'm using Android devices with this keyboard). On this newer keyboard, each action is a 2-key shortcut that I'll have to get used to. Sigh.

This creates issues for me when I'm trying to maximize the $10 off $30 coupon since the subtotal ends up being incorrect.
