I bought a similar ice maker and returned it. The ice cube is tiny and melts fast.
I ended up buying these trays instead:

While I do not own one from this brand I will say that over the past 5+ years we have loved our machine. Just keep in mind to use purified water if possible to keep scale from building up.

100% agree. I got the exact same brand, and all the ice cubes ended up smelling bad.

Thanks OP, I has been looking at the $70 one from Costco since our freezers ice maker conked out and I'm not feeling like fixing or replacing it (as it is 8 years old.)

I have this (and another similar ice maker -- Silonn on Amz) -- like this one a lot more. And no-doubt yes ice will melt quickly if not used, but I just dump it into freezer (cheaper than replacing fridge ice maker which still dispenses the ice, just makes it much, Much, MUCH slower than it used to)
