Great machine for the price with one MONSTROUS flaw… it leaks from the front 😩 aside from that, it's great 🤣
I have this on my desk in my office at work. Every morning I come in there's a small puddle of water underneath the tray. More water over a weekend. God forbid there's a three day weekend and I got a swamp (slightly exaggerated)
It's the ice bin design that sucks. Most of the melted ice drips into the water reservoir below and gets recycled for more ice. The water that doesn't make it in the reservoir falls backward towards the front of the unit and slowly drips down the front, creating a pool underneath the catch tray.

Honestly, I haven't bothered to research or attempt a fix. I found that if I stay consistent using the machine, the water doesnt leak (or as much). This just means I offered my ice machine to my colleagues to help themselves. I just have to make sure it is empty on Friday.
I bought this before Christmas. It worked great for like 3 hours, then started making a horrible LOUD screeching noise and stopped making ice. When it worked it was kinda slow at making ice, and while it was loud, it was not as loud as the old Frigidaire countertop ice maker. I liked the design with the side water tank and the drawer which holds a decent amount of ice (for a countertop unit) but ultimately the poor reviews I read and ignored were correct. It's also a pain to deal with because you have to drag it back to the store and cannot ship it back. On top of this, when I submit for a refund it doesn't seem to be refunding my $22 for the 3 year Walmart Protection Plan I also purchased so that should make for an interesting conversation at the return counter. All in all I would avoid this unit.
This thing is horrible. I just got it in this morning. Let it sit on my counter for 6 hours as instructed then turned it on and the noise it put out was insane. It sounded like the damned thing was going shake itself apart. I'm used to these things failing, eventually, but this one was a failure right out of the box. The only bright side is the return process is apparently quick and painless.
SOLD OUT and selling USED on Ebay for 2x the cost. I was able to get one for $97 over a month ago for my work breakroom. Some cycles do make noises. It is NOT designed to STORE ice, only make it. But if you use it often, it will not melt and drip. It makes ice fast and so far EVERYONE likes it. Several employees now want one.
