Whenever I've gone too cheap with filters, the frame is weak & ends up with the filter all bent up & distorted because it's almost been sucked into the blower motor.

I just stick with 3M & buy in bulk from Amazon.

The filters I received from my first order have the strongest frame I've ever seen in an air filter. It's plastic.

Interesting. I checked their site & (at least for my filter size) the lower MERV levels (8/10) appear to have the plastic frame, while the top end MERV13 has cardboard frame.

Just FYI: I did the previous version of this deal. Ordered filters on 12/19. They were delivered on 12/28. I was easily able to cancel my subscription. Was able to buy 6 filters for $5 each or so.

FIlters seem good to me on initial inspection.

Did anyone else think it was weird that they put the measurements backwards? Confusing. Typically they are listed by width, height, and thickness. Seems like a decent deal though and should help keep my "did you change the air filter" wife happy.

FYI these filters come folded. That's right, FOLDED. ordered a couple 20x30x1s and it came in a bag that was 8x10. Thought they sent me the wrong size but turns out it was just folded.
