OOOO MY GOD! Thank you! I loved book 3.5 or whatever it was. That was too cool! I never thought of just adding a whole nother book into a completed series.

I'm so excited!

I assume these are faithful to the books - just a word of advice, when you get to the point where you are given a chance to stop or to keep reading, just stop!

As someone who just finished Wizard and Glass I could jump into this without spoiling the next books right?

Insta-buy unless my library has these. They had most of the original series ones, so might be worth to check unless you want to own them.

Absolutely fantastic, but highly recommend reading The Dark Tower epic before reading the graphic novels.

Both are emotionally impactful and outstanding, and probably King's best work (YMMV).

Trying to figure out what this encompasses, looks like a 5 part series that lays out book 1 of the dark tower series?

Based on the graphic novel titles, this seems to be a re-telling of Wizard and Glass, which I think is the second best book in the Dark Tower series (Wastelands being the best). If it had the backing of a studio like HBO, I think Wizard and Glass could've been an amazing 2/3-season TV series.

Not really a retelling, all of these graphic novels encompass events that are hinted at in the series but do not go into detail - like the battle of jericho hill, fall of gilead, etc. They are excellent!

Because it was trash. It should have been given the GoT treatment and 1 season per book on HBO. Would have been incredible

because the dark tower movie bombed and no one wants to take a chance. a shame too because there's so much amazing content and lore to dive into woth this series
