No reason to buy this over a LG C or B series. It doesn't have the amazing QD OLED tech of the S90 D but all the downsides of a Samsung OLED.

It uses a WOLED panel.

Last I recall, the WOLED panel was less prone to burn in than the Samsung QD panel in the last RTNGS OLED burn in test.

Please link the results if there's a more recent test showing different results.

Yeah and MiniLED is even less prone to burn in, but the jump from WOLED to QDOLED is significant enough to ignore burn in that only shows up on torture tests or complete boneheaded users.

Interesting. The reason i didnt get it because of high complaints bad boards. C3 is tested
P.S my Samsung laptop with the first ryzen mobile and sammy tv were top notch and lasted many years in mint. LG used to have a bad rep i recall. Sometimes they learn sometimes they make mistakes

We own a really old OLED B series and there's no burn in at all and I'm not really nice to my TV. Overblown fears. Our old plasma got the is cartoon channel logo burnt in. I never did understand why my kids liked Adventure World at all ...

The LG B, C and even G-series all use WOLED panels as well.

With that said, I would still choose a B or C-series over the Samsung.

Yes, that was my point, if you're getting a WOLED panel, might as well get an LG anyway. If you're getting a QDOLED panel, the S90D is a sweetspot if you don't want to step up to a Bravia A95L.

I've got a 1st Gen QD-OLED 65" S95B I bought in 2022 and no sign of burn-in yet. I don't game but watch lots of movies and tv shows, and on well-mastered content, like Dune or even Wild Robot, the TV produces colors I've literally never seen before. It's absolutely mind-blowing. I don't regret buying it for a second.

They're making their TV's confusing now, though, with the latest generation. Certain sizes are WOLED and others are QD-OLED, and sometimes even among the same size but different regions.

If I had more money I'd upgrade my S95B to a 77" S90C or D for a bigger panel with even higher color volume and peak brightness.

Same price at samsung with EPP account. It's more legit than buying from ebay.

You can trade for an old TV and get $$ credit. Also, it can be picked up from the local Best buy store.
Speak to online rep they will add free extended warranty or free installation.

I thought this was the 95D. My 95B from 2022 is still going strong no issues still on factory firmware never connected to WiFi.

This, or Bravia 8? I'm getting around the same price for both.
