Do these have Japanese capacitors? Need a good 1000w+ PSU to run my 3090TI. 😆
The product page is very specific -- "Made in Japan or Taiwan, China".
It says to check individual product, but I can't find a link to it anywhere but Newegg. I found this review: https://www.fcpowerup.com/sama-xp1200/3/ which is mostly in Chinese. It looks like the capacitors are made in Taiwan (Teapo).

Stick with known good units it's worth the price for something that doesn't outdate as fast as other hardware does. I've had good luck with enermax, Corsair, xpg, seasonic, super flower myself.

i personally think sama is fine. across the board they use japanese capacitors and have 10 year warranty. been around for 20+ years if i remember right just not in the west. a couple reviews which aren't in english say they are good. have a build with a black hole sama and its fine.

That may be, but I personally believe that the PSU is maybe the most important part of a PC build. I would pay a few dollars more for a well reviewed/quality PSU. When you are looking at a 1200w PSU, you are using high end GPU/CPU's and I cant imagine if you have those parts that you would skimp on a low(er) quality PSU.
Anyone needing 1200w psu should not skimp on quality (for a high end gpu)...go with thermaltake, corsair or even a higher end peripheral co branded like rosewill
