Wish some of the other flavors would go on sale. Got a lot of these in the pantry already.

It clearly says 22% DV for sodium, it's right there in the picture. Why make stuff up? That being said, half a package of this product is not much of a meal, its easy to eat a whole pack.

I always buy these when they're steeply discounted *for travel and backpacking*, it's not great to make these a regular part of my diet because A) they're full of killer salt, and B) they're probably full of micro plastics from the inside liner (definitely don't microwave these in the pouch, instead put them in a pot). I end up chowing them down late at night when I'm in beast mode.

It's two servings per pouch. 22% per "serving" (yeah, right), and *45%* for each bag. That 45% is 1040 mg out of a suggested 1600 mg daily limit. Salt is a killer, read all about it. Unless you're a teenage girl, you're gonna eat the whole bag, ffs 🙄

Salt is not a killer. Too much salt is a killer, and no salt is a killer. Even the whole bag is not too much salt for a person. For adults that aren't physical laborers, 2 meals is always enough, so just go easy on the sodium in your other meal and it's fine.

And to the person who thinks he's safe from the plastic because he/she dumped contents and stove heated, this shelf stable product has been in there forever (time) and at various temps (conditions). So get back to me I got a bridge in brooklyn to sell you at a discount

Tastes good but be aware of high sodium and saturated fat numbers.

I already had this item on S&S and wasn't getting the coupon. However, I did find a way around it:

Cancel the existing subscription for the item.
Find another product on the TastyBite Featured Deal page (https://www.amazon.com/stores/Tas...28B53EA549) with the 20% off the 1st S&S order and add the coupon on that product page
Go back to the Madras Lentils page and restart the subscription.
The coupon discount will appear on the order summary page.

This stuff is indeed salty. You can make your own lentils and pack them in small containers until eternity, not sure why people buy these. They are available in Costco too.

Recently on sale at Costco. Not terribly spicy/hot. Salty for those sensitive.
