FYI, 400 fl oz is equal to:
  • 3.125 gallons
  • 12.5 quarts
  • 25 pints
  • ~11.83 liters
I did a brief search of home improvement store websites and learned that 3-gallon containers are pretty common and are probably the closest in size you can get without going over. After that, 10-quart containers are also common.

I went and did this - I brought a 14 qt bucket - they basically filled two large Cinemark popcorns and poured it in regardless do what size you brought

I think it would work with a 5 gallon Home Depot bucket - they would just fill it with two large
