Can I use these as computer speakers? I have a Scarlett 3 that may be used for output (not sure).

Fantastic deal. Got them for $430 and that was a good deal. I love them, although I'm splurgey and want to spring for tower speakers and move these to surrounds.

Imagine paying $649 for these by going to Adorama directly. It's a f**king scam.

Can these be used for computer use, or even connected for dj use?

Decent for front speakers in a living room surround setup? On stands, presumably. I've got a 32" height limitation, so it seems most towers won't work.

Good speakers but after a little online research, I'll keep my Triangle Borea BR03's. Adorama often has the Triangle's on sale for $300.
Can't compare passive speaker to active speaker

I think id buy these but im out of speaker spots on my receiver. Frown

I have Pioneer Elite vsx-lx305. Have 5.2 (2 subs) already, added the klipsch towers with built in atmos i got back in september (2 sets, 1 front, 1 back). Id like to add side surrounds but think my rear atmos are taking up that spot. :-[ i know,... first world problems.

I have R-51M for my rear surrounds right now. I know these would be an upgrade, but I wonder if they'd be too heavy for the wall mounts I have. They originally held tiny Sony surrounds. The 51s seem like they are pushing the safe holding ability of the mounts.

Any thoughts on size/weight?

Yes, You'll need an amp for passive speakers, something like this:

Who did? The Triangle Borea BR03 [adorama.com] and the Klipsch RP-600M II [adorama.com] are both passive speakers.

How would these do for a small(<300 sq ft) home garage gym? Considering a pair of Sonos Ones but wouldn't mind higher quality speakers paired with a WiiM/airplay streamer.

Buyer beware, these have a lot of treble. Brightness cannons.

Thanks. I'm torn whether to get these for my office with my computer that I use with a tv. Or would that be a little overkill?

I checked this amp and it seems like it only has two channels for the speakers. Would I need to find a different amp if I wanted to also connect subwoofers? Or would the subwoofers connect directly with the speakers and go through the amp that way? Sorry, I'm a complete audio noob.
