I have a pair of these already but wish I hopped on this deal. I'm super impatiently wanting to jump from a 3.1 to 5.1 with tower speaker 8000f ii's and moving my existing 600m ii's to rears, but I shouldn't drop $800 right now. Wish I got these to get to 5.1 with the eventual 8000f ii's completing a 7.1.

I checked this amp and it seems like it only has two channels for the speakers. Would I need to find a different amp if I wanted to also connect subwoofers? Or would the subwoofers connect directly with the speakers and go through the amp that way? Sorry, I'm a complete audio noob.
There is a RCA out (It says SW OUT) on the back side of the SMSL SA300 amp. you can connect an active subwoofer (active subwoofer comes with a built in amp) using a RCA cable.

Thanks. I'm torn whether to get these for my office with my computer that I use with a tv. Or would that be a little overkill?
Great speakers. I have used them near field, and they can be great on close proximity. The main challenge for office use, and especially for desk use would be their large size. Look carefully at the dimensions, and if you are okay with the size, then go for it.

Do I need an AMP that can drive 400w x2 for this?I have a AIYIMA A01 Pro 100W x 2 Power.
Your aiyima will have plenty of power. These are easy to drive. I ran some rp-600m off of a 25 watt tube amp for quite a while and even with a low wattage amp, they were still effortless.

Thanks. Yeah having been using these and it definitely gives sound lol

New to this so have been very confused with these wattage ratings on amp and speakers.

I just bought RP-500M ii for $279 and I am enjoying the sound, but these seems be better deal, is it worth going hastle to return them and buy these instead?
$279 is a great price for the rp-500m which is a great speaker and probably one of the more under-rated stars. Rp-500m deserves a lot more praise and recognition then it gets.

The only reason why I would recommend moving up to rp-600 for someone like yourself already in the rp-500, would be if you were exceeding its output capacity.
If you are pushing them really hard and feel like you can't fill your large space with enough sound, then you might need a larger driver. No other reason to swap. The sound quality itself isn't going to be a big change. If anything, for some people the smaller physical size of the rp-500 could also be considered a positive.

I don't own these but I do own their predecessors the 600m Mark I. I use them as my pc speakers. I paired them with a klipsch R12SSW sub and a modest Sony STRDH790. Right now I am listening to Rob Zombie live and let me tell you my ears will give out before these speakers will. The Mark 2s are an improvement upon the Mark I but I am quite happy letting these piss off the neighbors. I have an all Klipsch RP 9.4.4 setup for home theatre but these 600m speakers are just that damn good. Piano black was a nice touch and looks great in my setup. Keep in mind these are deep cabinets. They have about the same depth as the RP8000F does so If using as bookshelves you need plenty of space as t the Walnut finish these cabinets are easy enough to vinyl wrap so don't let that stop you from getting them. Let them melt your face off and make your ears bleed. They are a well put together kit.For whoever mentioned the Sony core series cs5s they are a decent speaker but these are just in a whole different league. I have 2 sets of the 5s in a bedroom setup. Purchased the whole core series when it was discounted. Had 2 of the subs. neither one works anymore. and Sony has terrible support. Customer Service at Home depot is better and thats a low bar.. I have 5 of the Klipsch Subs. When I had an amp plate get fried I was able to get them to replace it after 3 years. Now I think it's 5 years. Adorama has always been able to answer all my questions and I have never recieved damaged products from them. Alot of my Guitars from Jackson and Ibenez have come from them. I often read how people have recieved both damaged and non functional merchandise from them. I personally have never had that problem and since they are an authorized Klipsch reseller Klipch will ann does honor your warranty coverage. Rock on my brother's and sisters.

I just received mine from Adorama. GREAT speakers. These are Klipsch's best bookshelf speakers. I have the RP-400M which are smaller but still pretty good. I put them next to these 600M II and the 600M II is much better. Clean! Better sound separation. The 400M sounds like the music is in a box. These sound open and the highs are more defined, bigger sound stage. Cleaner lower mids. Work well with my subwoofer. Selling the RP-400M speakers on marketplace cause they just gotta go. And the adorama price of 299 is sick!
