retailers dont sell to lose $$$ they are still profiting just not as much as they estimated. overall skil 12v are top notice. happy with the drill and impact wrench hope they expand to add more tools.

I agree that they don't lose money overall, but they absolutely can knowingly lose money on certain quantities of certain items. This is the thinking behind clearance items. You made enough profit on the first 50,000 you sold. It doesn't matter if you sell the last 1,000 below cost, you still are profitable.
