The 32-oz size fits perfectly in a bottle holder net thingy on a backpack I use for light traveling. I go to the airport, I drink the last of the water before going through the security checkpoint (or dump it down a drain at a water fountain), then on the other side of security, I fill it up with cold water at one of the many bottle fillers. I haven't bought plastic disposable bottles for years. It is great to always have water on hand on a plane or on the road.
One thought for car cupholders-- it doesn't fit mine either, but I have noticed that in my newer car and in rentals, most have bottle storage in the door. They sometimes are weird and on an odd angle so it isn't easy to notice them. This thing fits in most bottle storage areas in these cars perfectly.
It is a bit of a juggling act to unscrew if you're driving, so be careful. However, I love the mag seal. I must be strong because I have never had an issue with leaks. The top can get condensation if there is tons of ice in it and it is a hot and humid day.
I hope that helps someone! If you like the colors, it is a screaming deal.

Great deal. I have it in black. Only issue is this is heavier than other brands and is not for leaving in a backpack for that reason
Heavier is usually a good thing. I have a few heavier ones that have lost their vacuum
this is a really good price, and the caps swap between the eddies. it's good for summer for keeping ice, though I wouldn't use this for "hot" beverages.
I have a kleen canteen that no longer holds heat... very sad.
