i have the 2023 i'd.4 on a lease and can honestly say i'm counting down the days until this car goes back

one of the worst cars i've ever owned, technology is very poorly designed and frustrating, countless recalls and range is mediocre at best.

there are many more comparable options when it comes to EV. Chevy Equinox being one that is also very well priced.

My personal opinion would be to get him a used car if he or she a new driver. Cheaper insurance and less fear of damage. Damaging a leased car is going to be costly. Not meaning to offend or anything, just providing my own experience as an ex-college student.

Might want to consider a used EV instead. Model year 23 one owner vehicles under 25k should qualify for an additional 4k discount. the lease deal looks to be 10k per year for mileage. Prices exclude taxes and fees. I have an id 4. Can't say I would recommend it

I got a bolt EUV premier and love it for my daily usage. Comma ai makes it a breeze on highways. Not for very long trips though as it got a slow charging battery.

The dude literally said that was his "personal opinion" on the matter, not that the other person had to follow it.

Wow that seems like a great price especially for something with AWD. I see quite a few of these Equinox EV's running around my neck of the woods.

RWD. Yuck
I live in a snow heavy area and with my electric vehicles are rwd. Because of the battery placement the weight is distributed in such a way that it actually performs really well. I was worried at first.

So I dont quite understand how lease work. My TOTAL monthly payment will ONLY be $149 for the next 24 months besides the one time $999 and fees (Base Model)?
Plus the final fee at the end when you turn in the lease $395 (disposition fee)

Not in the US it doesn't. This will be updated this year but as of 1/5/2025 Id.4s can't go to any tesla charger, just the magic dock ones.

That said, I love my ID.4 and paid WAY more than this for my 2023. Frown

Good point. Here in AZ we only pay the tax on the payment, not the full price of the car. Great way to save for those who live in AZ.

Why would you add a young person to your insurance? You are insuring your vehicle, not the person driving it. I never added my kid to my policy. The only bad thing is they pay more the first time they get insurance and own a vehicle. But at that point, it is time for them to grow up.
It depends on what your insurance is going to cover.

not all will cover a driver not listened in your policy for certain coverages. Or your deductible may be higher in an accident, etc.,

If it's your kid, it makes a ton of sense to add them into your policy so they can just build some history on it. Also, if you have liability only, it's not that much more expensive. full coverage is a different situation.
