Good deal on a manual coring aerator. Some have complained about the core getting stuck. The issue seems to be related to a weld that looks like a ring around the inside of the cutting tube. My local Lowe's had 30 in stock and the welds between the cutting tube and the baseplate were on the outside so I don't expect to have the plugging issue. Overall quality looked much better than the manual versions I was looking at on Amazon.

I rent one from a local equipment rental that tends to be cheaper than Home Depot but there are still areas that are very compacted and didn't see as much improvement after using the rental unit once. I got this tool specially for those areas. Out would take too long to do my entire yard with this manual one. Each tool has its purpose.
At this price I might still consider it for very small jobs, but I'm not a satisfied customer.
