Everyone ready for another iteration of the same thing? I don't know why I do it every year, but it's been a good 4 years now where I literally can't tell the difference and just deal with a hassle of moving everything over and logging into everything for no reason.

I still haven't used any of the AI crap that came with the s24 ultra.

Honestly, it's just not aesthetically pleasing. I don't like looking at it or even holding it anymore. In the beginning, I didn't really care for the camera bar either but wanted to give the phone a try since I'd never used a Pixel before but as harsh as this sounds, it disgusts me. And I know some people here mention Samsung's slow shutter speed but this Pixel is even worse. It's just not for me.

Note20 Ultra 5G was the last good phone they released. Gonna use that until the components die and then replace them and use it some more!

Hypothetically say If the new S25Ultra is 1400, and they would be willing to trade S24U for 1250 plus the promotional credit 50$, will it be worth it to get the S25U for 100$? Any recommendations?

I would. But this is wishful thinking. Realistically, knowing how greedy Samsung is, trade up from S24U would be around 250-400 with a 'double storage on us' launch offer.

$100 to upgrade is a buy now think later kinda deal.

i'm also jaded because samsung has already given me bullshit on 2 trade ins. After a lot of fights i got them to back off, but not sure they would back off a 3rd time (the second time they told me I had already used my 1 exemption)
