I prefer the $35 tower looking one that also has a surge protector built in and some 3 prong ports. I know this outputs more wattage, but it would be overkill for my needs. Still a good deal though if this is the unit you want/need.

Why? Because you don't use them any more?

First off, there are plenty of USB-C only chargers available - go find one of those.. Second, there are still tons of USB-A devices out there. Rushing to have only USB-C at this point in time, you'll likely need an adapter sooner or later.

I have this and I agree. I still have several devices to replace (iPhones and iPads), but I cannot wait until everything is just usb-c on both ends. Otherwise it is a great device.

This was $49.99 during BF. I'd wait for to hit that price again.

I could certainly be wrong, but I don't think Anker makes anything that's all usb-c with more than 4 ports. Even their $150 250w charger on Amazon that has a fancy read-out has exactly this same port layout (4 and 2).

Also, sure usb-a devices exist, but not really anything that I charge. phones, tablets, noise cancelling headphones and earbuds, Bluetooth speakers, literally everything I can think of, at least that I own...is usb-c if it's not apple, and obviously apple is going usb-c as well. And either way, if something uses usb-a to charge or plug in, so what? that doesn't mean the other end that goes into the charger can't be usb-c, which is neater and easier to plug in and smaller.

I have several of these around the house. Best for $$$. When using two USB-C ports simultaneously, each can deliver up to 100W max output. Each port charges a max of 100W each. Use proper cables and will have no issues.
