This could be the silliest comment I've ever seen on SlickDeals. This is possibly even worse than the usual, "disks are dumb, haven't you heard of streaming," comments.

Oppenheimer? Barbie? The Batman? Dune Part 1?

If you have a legit 7.2.6 home theater like some of us do, there are a number of movies on this list that are worth owning for the HT experience alone. Not to mention the fact that plenty of these are just good movies.

Enjoy your 10 Mbps stream, and let the rest of us enjoy quality in peace.

I just scrolled through the list on Amazon. The OP only gave a taste. This is actually a pretty impressive selection of movies this time, everything from enduring classics to critically-acclaimed newer movies to popular crowd pleasers. Even most picky of movie snobs should find a few favorites in there.

Not everything may be to everyone's taste, but there are certainly options for most people's tastes. It's a pretty wide variety.

Good overall selection of movies, I guess $11 is the new $9.99 since there is no best buy competition. Picked up 3 I didn't already own that have never been less then $11 each.. So decent overall...

No it's an improvement in picture resolution & often an improvement on the audio side also.

You have to have the equipment to take advantage of it, the quality and setup of those plays a role also.

Regarding Furiosa the improvement is only in the picture, the same object based soundtrack is included on the BR disc.

Great deal will look through these. My wife and I went and got a 4k Bluray a higher end on to pair with the 98 inch Sony we got on Slickdeals along with our massive sound system also found on Slickdeals. We literally stopped going to movies we are blown away by the difference between streaming and the 4k disc. It is night and day. The audio alone is crazy but the picture wow.

I was shocked at how good the selection is. Most of the time it feels like every sale is the same set of movies, but this one includes a lot of newer films (and older) I haven't seen before.
