I've had one the last 6 months, love it. Bought two more with this deal. Others have better battery life; but for weight, UI, and brightness on turbo... great for my dog walks and traversing the woods. So lightweight I completely forget about it on my head.

Light and works quite nicely, but the small battery in the unit doesn't have the full brightness uptime of the larger 18650 or 21700 based units. If you are doing work that requires longer uptimes and like the light weight and small form factor get 2 or 3 of these and swap them around to have 2 on charge while one is being used.

Why red for dog walking?
Wanted the higher lumen output mostly. Red light was just a bonus

I wouldn't use red to walk a dog but some might want to preserve night vision. Red is also less likely to attract wild animals and flying insects.

There's a $20 coupon so the total is $15.99, or 99¢ more than this deal

Happen to have the link to the one you got?
You sound really cheap. I like that because I am too. Hence I've been using this headlamp I found on eBay. I got it at 2 for $8 last year and I've been using it nearly every other day. It has both a spotlight and a COB panel for more diffused expansive lighting. I was surprised at how useful it is to switch between the two modes. It does not have a strobe mode, which I never use anyway. And there's a magnet at the end. An undocumented feature is the ability to infinitely adjust the brightness by holding the power switch. So you don't just have High/Low, but infinitely many steps in between as well. I discovered this by accident.

Here's an offer at 2 for $9.99. You can probably find a better price if you searched.

Did anyone else get a bad one?

Info states it has a red light while charging. And green when charged

Mine does not have a red or green light.

Sp I don't know how long to charge it for a full charge. Overnight?

Really terrible instructions.
I did check and can see a light in the button. If I push the button, I can see first a red light. Then a green one.

Which one is right? And the indicator light goes away after a few seconds.
