Good deal, OP (Bubba). Coupon Code WZNEW5 gets you an extra 5% off. My father's older Suzuki Equator has a battery that's on it's way out. I just recently bought another battery from Sam's Club to replace my parents' battery in their Hyundai. It was a Sam's "Duracell" AGM priced at around $200 (plus a core charge since I replaced it myself). Not only did I get the AGM battery in this deal for less than $125... but, the seller didn't charge any sales tax, so less than $125 out the door!

Good deal - Repped.

Ordered a H6 last time these were on sale and it died after 2 weeks of sitting. I emailed weize and they sorted it out and I had a new replacement battery in 4 days. New battery has been fine since.

I have heard that batteries are build based on the environment, or conditions they will be in. For example, northern or southern climate. I am fully aware cars are mobile and some won't stay in that area. Is there any truth to the claim that batteries are manufactured based on the typical climate they will see. Temps in the south might hit higher for a longer period over the life of the battery. In the north the battery might see colder temps over the life of the battery.

If this is true, how would that impact a battery that is shipped from a central warehouse? I doubt they carry more skus to handle regional issues. Just curious to learn from the battery experts.

I just put one of the H5 ones in my 2022 Kia EV6 and it's been great. Shipping was fast as well, would buy again. Great price for what I think is a good battery.
You had to replace a two year old battery?

I'm no expert, but modern vehicle charging systems use an algorithm to control charging. It compensates for things like temperature, electrical system loading, and calculated state of charge. I find that my GM SUV holds a higher charging voltage in colder weather and for a period of time after the vehicle has been parked for a while, to top the battery off after storage. I'm not aware of differences based on the climate they're being shipped to for this type of battery.

Actually Costco has great pricing for Interstate Batteries brand. I'm sure members were abusing the return policy, make sense a car battery should be pro-rated after 3 years.
Pro-rated from day one.
"If there is a defect in material or workmanship (not merely the battery being discharged), this limited warranty provides that upon return of the battery to any United States or Puerto Rico Costco Wholesale warehouse, a pro-rata portion of the original purchase price and sales tax paid will be refunded."

New cars are notorious for premature battery failures, because they sit on the dealer lot for months with zero care for the discharging battery. This is especially true right now with dealer lots overflowing with old inventory. They jump it when it's ready to show and call it good, but by that time the battery is toast due to deep discharge for an extended period. Many new car batteries have to be replaced within 6 months or a year of new delivery. Lot rot is a real thing.

This one required Registration, and have on each cell.

Question if anyone knows, when the specific profile for Ah and chemistry is not available for explicit selection , what is the "correct" selection if any?

Is it simply to select the closest capacity with the correct chemistry cell? It there any guidance on over/under capacity selection given the cell isn't identical to the options given when registering a new replacement BMW cell?
I have 2500 miles on a Weize Group 49; it's been fine. So was the OEM BMW battery before it, but since it was 10 years old, it was time to go. I had no battery issues, so that Bosch battery was probably going to keep working.

I don't think the chemistry will change, since you're sticking with AGM. The correct profile is whatever is closest. Looks like I stuck with 90 Ah, while the battery itself is rated at 95 Ah.

The thing is packaged extremely well (I actually bought it BF 2023), and it weighs about 50 pounds. Very difficult to install into an F30 (the hard part is getting the old one out). Probably similar on your E9x?

The BimmerLink app was $40, but fortunately Google Play gave me a one-time discount out of nowhere.

My 2012 Honda CR-V isn't even listed on their selection. Does that mean the car doesn't qualify for this AGM battery?

On that note, don't go to Costco for batteries, they suck ever since they started the pro-rated refund.
That sucks to hear but Costco battery prices have spiked so much since they got rid of the Kirkland batteries that I've never considered it.

Walmart is pretty much the only place to get a reasonably-priced battery nowadays.

I no longer live in a tropical climate, so thankfully my batteries seem to last 5+ years nowadays.

Your CR-V has a tiny 51R battery which is not offered by Weize to my knowledge. If you're a DIYer and want to make a substitution, there's a similar sized U1 AGM I linked in an earlier comment that should do the job. Another commenter is installing this U1 his Mazda Miata that came with the same 51R. The U1 is a large lawn/garden size AGM with similar specs, and is super cheap at $37 shipped. Terminals will likely be different, so the roll of the dice and terminal/tiedown adaptation are up to you.

What a piece of junk...never heard of em..never put dat in my rides 😄 better go deeka or bosch!
If you've never heard of it then how do you know if it's a piece of junk? Do reviews matter to you at all? This brand is steadily gaining market share because they offer excellent value, which I thought was why we are all here. You do you, but I love my Weize automotive and powersports batteries and they serve me well at a compelling price.
