The user she was quoting is "George_P_Burdell", which was the name used for a fake student at Georgia Tech back in the 1920s as a prank. The user's avatar is also the Georgia Tech logo, including "Buzz" the mascot, since the school's teams are known as the "Yellow Jackets."

Those mats there are way thicker and more durable then this one…. No comparison. Completely 2 different types of mats lol

Yep. The TSC stall mats are 1/2" to 3/4" (13 to 19mm) thick rubber depending on which you buy. This roll is 4mm, so like 5/32".

It'll help some with shock, but it's not going to make standing on concrete comfortable and you definitely don't want to drop weights on it if you're doing a home gym. This is more useful for reducing the clang from dropping a wrench or making the surface less slick in front of your tools.

I put this over my foam interlocking mats. The mats are OK for cushion but the exterior isn't as durable or sweat proof like these rubber rolls.

Is this a good price for this type of mat? I'm looking to cover a workshop area floor in the basement. Roughly 20x15
