Bought a set of these for my Telluride. May work for many luxury vehicles as well. These are like run flats in that they are supposed to self seal punctures.

Just to be clear, these are not like run-flat tires. Run-Flat tires are not called that because they "self-seal"; most modern tires do that. Run flat tires have sidewalls that are strong enough to be driven on when the air in the tire is gone. A self-sealing tire cannot do that.

my BMW came with those tires. IMHO, these are the best high performance all season tires out there.... "P Zero" and "All Season" are basically a contradiction in terms, but I was surprised with the performance. On dry, it performed flawlessly. On rainy roads, the car is rock solid. It's a little harsh on concrete interstates, but still quiet and comfortable enough. I've only had 9000 miles on them, so no chance to test snow performance yet. But my area is supposed to get a few inches of snow and/or ice next week. If there's a downside, it's that these tires wear rather quickly. In only 9000 miles, more than 3/32 of the tread has already been worn off. My estimate is that they'll need replacing before I reach 15,000 miles.

I just bought a set of 2021 production tires from tire rack. If you message tire rack via chat they can usually tell you what month in 2021 they were manufactured. They told me they were built late 2021, what delivered were built in March 2022.
Generally, if tires are stored properly (not exposed to UV) should have no issues sitting around for this long. The bigger issue to me would be that if you don't drive a lot, you may end up with really old tires before you run through the tread.

Most tire places won't repair a tire that is more than 6 years old from the date code.
Something to keep in mind.

For those who didn't know you can tell when the tire is made by week/year that's on the outer wall of the tire. For example 40/24 or 4024 will mean it was manufacturered on the 40th week of 2024.

After exclusively shopping tires online for over a decade the respectable tire shops will not sell you a tire more than 2 years old. The best I received is the same year. Tire wear is based on your routes and driving habits. Average consensus for tire replacement is 5-7 years despite miles/tread wear. Summer tires are 2-3 year.

This is a great deal if it fits your car. I needed 275/50 R20 which isn't available.
