If it's well documented, then surely you could provide said documentation instead of making sensationalist statements.

We put foil trays of food on these to keep them warm at events but if you connect more than two to an outlet, it will trip the breaker.

it's a pretty well documented fact that these nonstick coatings cause all sorts of health problems.Anyone who has had any type of cancer problems or heart issues is instructed to avoid all nonstick coatings and most also recommend no plastics in the kitchen at all.If you have to use nonstick choose ceramic. Stainless steel and Glass is preferred. This griddle does have its uses, but try and avoid using these on a regular basis.
What's well documented is that when these coatings are heated beyond around 400 degrees or so they give off harmful off gases. But at standard cooking temperatures that won't burn food these coatings are supposed to be safe. Apparently even if some of the coating flakes off and gets ingested it will pass through your system without incident. It's the chemical breakdown by high heat into its components that can cause problems.

That said, this griddle looks like cheap, difficult to clean, and I also recommend cast iron for reasonable nonstick properties on fried eggs and pancakes as well as good heating characteristics. These can also live on the stove if you have a central gas burner (it's hard to recommend cast iron griddles for electric stoves).
