To each their own, but I couldn't stand it. Bought it for PC through Ubi? and just couldn't get into it. Something about the art (too colorful?) and something about the traversal mechanics/quest locations always forcing me to look for ways to climb/scale mountains/etc turned it into an endless frustrating space bar mashing fest. In general the 'engine' just didn't feel 'right' to me.

Anywho, contacted Ubi and asked for my money back (less than 2 hours of gameplay).

From what I read, it's like a resigned far cry 6, this ultimately made it not appealing to me since I could not get into most FC titles

I loves this game cause I loved the two movies and it beautifully recreates the feel of running and flying through the Avatar world. I didn't finish it cause the base capture missions get old. They're easier if you do it stealth but still tedious after you've done 20 of them. Also the human weapons suck so you don't use them much. They should at least have iron sights if not optics.

But it's so much better than Far Cry. You have to play on a fast PC, PS5 or Series X, don't play it on a slow machine, it doesn't do it justice.

Ah, the bargain bin, the fate of all Ubisoft games. Never buy then at launch because they'll be half price within 6 months, and 75% off in a year. Their games are almost always visually stunning, but with little depth.

That said, this game uses the typical Far Cry 3+ / Assassin's Creed formula of outpost clearing and exploration. It'll be immediately familiar once you get past the nice graphics. $20 is a fair price.

RMMV; $10 at Walmart. Along with a bunch of FIFA 24?, I think.

Had been $20 for at least a month there.

I don't expect much from it, hopefully the scenery will be ok. Got a backlog since Christmas and not sure when I'll start it. I only watched the first movie, so it will surprise me how it turns out. I'm already planning not to do many side quests as I was warned how time consuming they are and tedious amounts of them.

Oh, this was for PS5.

No. The game was only released for the Xbox Series S and X, not XBONE.
