But a few weeks ago, one of the plastic tongues that the laces go through broke. I see on google that it is not an uncommon thing with these sneakers.
Lasting less than a year is unacceptable on a pair of sneakers that cost this price.
I then read that they boasted about the plastic being made from recycled materials and they were saying that as if it was a positive thing.
Screw whatever recycled materials they are using, because I would prefer that they used plastic that was stronger and doesn't break before 1 year of usage.
Are they trying to save the environment? Because the only thing they have achieved is that I'm going to throw out my sneakers a lot earlier than planned and I'll end up getting a new pair of something.
I don't know how the new models are and if they changed anything since then, but I hope so.

It's confusing from their website: "If the item is not damaged or defective, the cost of return shipping is deducted from the refund"

Things I've tried:
Stretching them out
Removing the sole (helped a tiny bit)
Cutting the stiching (Didn't help but at this point, it's not worth the discount)

Ijust half size up. Pretty much on all my Ultras I go half size up. I own Ultra Boosts from every model. And by sizing up my feet don't flop around. Never had an issue with a shoe being too tight around the ankle, but I understand.
I buy a lot of shoes and I buy according to fit. I start at my true size and work from there. I'm an 11.5, but different brands run large or small. Chuck Taylor's I can size down. Air Force 1s I size down, most air Jordans are true to size for me, Yeezys run small, other adidas like superstars and forums are true to size for me.
I would t do all of that to make a shoe fit.
