Surprised by the negative reviews. These were the best nonstick pans I ever owned in terms of durability and longevity. Lost them in the divorce and did opt for green pans to avoid the negative health impact but still miss cooking with these.

Stainless steel. Use the right oil and temp and you'll get long lasting non-stick. A quality set will last forever. Non-stick garbage can't be reseasoned so just ends up in a landfill. Cast iron another good choice

Peanut or avocado. Vegetable and canola work, but aren't that good for you.

Tramontina made in Brazil line is well recommended all around

Someone thumbing down someone else's experience is just ignorance. I had these too and they also peeled. The company did replace them for free but it doesn't change the fact that they started peeling after a year. Went to stainless never look back.

Been using these daily for over a year and no issues. Not sure about people leaving bad reviews that the coating peels off into their food, I haven't seen a single scratch or defect so far. Works great for me. For a budget set I'd deff recommend this.
