These are actually pretty good pliers. I tend to use these over my Knipex. I've been to four different Lowe's in the last couple of days and haven't seen them on clearance

The pliers aren't bad but the cutters are junk. I cut screws all the time and the cutting edges look serrated after how chewed up they are.

There's one in San Bernardino, CA. Not sure if anywhere else. Mostly have refrigerators, washers and dryers.

I was just in the Lowe's Outlet store here in Greensboro, NC and they had boxes and boxes of these pliers right out front for $2.29 each. Don't know if the regular stores are discounting but if you can get to an outlet store that may be your best chance.
