Package warning: ""Shake, Do Not Stir". "Watch"
Can't be used in a stirring-type blender. How does one know that something has gone awry with it during the observation period?

It'll just suck in a lot of air and make it really foamy. You can still drink it but it'll double in size in a blender or if you use a frother.

What's the difference between this and regular whey? It's finer?

I've only had the myprotein version, but it's like drinking a lemonade instead of a milkshake. Tastes good with water unlike most wheys.

With how expensive it is I used to reserve it for after hot outdoor workouts or yard work.

Iso is cleaner and more concentrated than regular whey. Pretty much better quality whey, more unnecessary stuffed removed. Iso pure is good and more refreshing, since It's meant to be mixed with water. I would drink iso pure style stuff while working (job, not exercising)..and a milk style whey iso post work out. But that's just me, my reasoning behind that is i dont intend on moving around after my work out and the milk provides additonal protein/nutrition for post work out. Iso tends to be easier on most people's stomach too.
