These should be $20 in store. 1500 lumens, rechargeable via USB-c, comes with 3 cables, and also has an output port to be used as a battery bank.

I was going to comment this exact same thing, the Costco deal for Duracell brand is amazing and better than this deal. I just picked up a set and wow they are bright! Rechargeable

I wanted these but never seen in my store...
Use the "Warehouse" tab of the app to see if your club even sells them, certainly better than calling around.

Difficult to avoid e-waste? You can use NIMH rechargeables to avoid e-waste..
What exactly do you think is going to happen to a rechargeable unit with a non-replaceable lithium ion battery when it eventually dies?

Definitely a more attractive deal if you've got a Costco membership & one nearby.
Exactly I use rechargeable AA batteries on all my devices. And prefer AA . those built in rechargable battery devices will die in a few years. My AA devices are in service for 10+ use. And if battery goes bad. Just outing new rechargable AA

the non rechargable battery is a deal breaker unless you supply your own rechargeable 8 batteries

The Home Depot ones are guaranteed for life, just take them to the store and swap them.

They are great except they sacrificed usability for a stupid store demo mode (falsely called lock out). You have to cycle through all the modes to turn the light off which also means no mode memory. Very annoying. Also the dual USB ports was pointless, usb c is bidirectional if they would have implemented it properly. Output is limited to 5v 1A which is very outdated.

Yep, I just got the Duracell 3-pack from Costco for $20 and used them for the first time today - not the same as these Huskies (similar look but rechargeable vs 8 AA batteries, and more lighting options). They're fantastic for light in the back of my box truck, where I need to be able to read small print on invoices. Battery life seems very good, I used two of them at eight stops for 5-10 minutes at a time, and the indicator lights showed near full charge by the end of the day.

The Husky lights they are replacing (not the ones posted here) couldn't make it through three stops before needing a recharge. They're plenty bright, too - I'm using them on the second highest setting. I use lights like these way too frequently and for too long to be changing out AA batteries all the time.

This is not accurate. The lock-out is completely different from normal operation. That prevents them from going on for more than a couple seconds in transit or in store, and once disabled, stays disabled. Yes, when you turn the light on you'll have to cycle through the modes if you want to turn them off immediately. But once they've been on for some amount of time (several seconds or maybe a minute, I don't know), a single press of the button turns them off.

The Costco Duracell lights are fantastic if you actually use them, since you won't be replacing AA batteries all the time. I couldn't care less about USB power out honestly, as I'll literally never use that. Your mention of only 1A output is valid but nitpicking, since they don't seem to be intended to be used as power banks all the time, more just for emergencies.

Any lights that come in a 2-pack take an even number of batteries.

Sounds logical until you realize the NIMH cells are rated at 1.2V per cell vice 1.5V for throwaways and Lithium-Ion cells. I use NiMH cells in some electronic devices. I can charge all day and night but the most that I can get is a max charge of 80%. With NiMH cells you are starting at a 20% disadvantage from the start.

So are the Costco ones. Basically everything Costco sells except computers, appliances and TVs have an infinite warranty.
