OP, did you qualify for the previous Pepper offer?
I qualified for the previous but not this round
Things to know:
Credits posted day after transaction posted for me
Pepper will show as Moocho under retailer (rebranded, still qualifies)
Amazon Fresh gc can be used on Amazon
Check the point multipliers daily, they can vary. I bought when Amazon fresh had 12x points. I have seen up to 20x points (on other retailers)
Points do expire if not accrued or used
Is the license thing a requirement for all accounts? I pass - I don't like such companies. In 6 months they will send a notice saying that they had a data breach and my information was compromised and they will offer to enroll in some credit monitoring service. No - thank you - not interested!
thanks nice deal. bought a $200 amazon gc with the 8x bonus.
-30 for the amex offer - and another 35 off for the points I will get in a few weeks.
Comes out to be about $145 for 200 bucks GC. not bad at all.

Signed up and bought $200 Amazon GC. No sign of $20 sign on bonus yet
However, got $10 discount.
So $200 - $10 (not sure why) - potential sign on $20 bonus - $30 Amex - $16 reward points = $124 (if it works)
otherwise just Amex $30 and $10 instant discount.
Folks, they have a lot of dishonesty and thieves in the app. There are algorithms that decide how this goes and they honestly don't have a lot of time to work thru these because it's not beneficial in the long run. I mentioned earlier, the app is not for everyone....and this is one of the reasons.
What do you mean by dishonesty and thieves in the app? Why is the app not for everyone?

Unlike the NBCNews app which attracts people who just want to keep up with current events and read the new reports, it's open to everyone and NBC will allow it for the most part.
The Pepper app is all about gcs and it attracts a whole lot of thieves and quite a bit of dishonest people who use multiple accounts, VPNs, fake names, ad blockers, stolen credit cards, incognito tabs, virtual credit cards, etc so Pepper has to employ unusual techniques which involve AI and 3rd party screeners so they don't loose their shirts to fraud which means the app is not open for everyone to use freely. Way fewer people who want to use Pepper will end up being able to actually use it.
Stay away!!!! pepper app asks for your id to verify, but after uploading, they show an error that they can't verify. customer support line is just an answering machine, and email support doesn't reply. look at their facebook page—many complaints! they are not listed on the better business bureau website, so you can't even file a complaint against them.

It didn't ask me for my ID. Downloaded the app, created an account, purchased a $100 Amazon GC. Immediately got 40,000 pending New User Points ($20) which payout out in 15 days and 8K instant Points ($4). AMEX reward is pending and will be $30 back. $124 for $70 was worth it for me.

Myself, gf and son all did it, never asked for id, already redeemed amazon gc, already received amex credits. ID requirement may be state based
I would warn anyone about doing business with PEPPER. I purchased a GC and while they were very quick to charge my AMEX, the purchase never showed up nor did any aknowledgement of the purchase AT ALL. No points, no gift card, no invoice...nothing. I initiated a dispute with AMEX after attempting SIX times to reach PEPPER CS via phone, email and facebook message. No response. When you call the 1-888 number it says no representative is available to take your call. Continuously. I notified AMEX that they should consider not doing AMEX OFFERS with PEPPER going forward, as it reflects badly on them.
EDIT: This post was a warning that PEPPER CS is non-existant. I am glad most of the people seem to have had good luck with this deal and PEPPER. I did not. I don't see why someone would give my post a thumbs-down, though I guess I should not be surprised.

also better to buy the amazon/amazon fresh gc when at 8x/12x better than the 5% for amazon card purchases

I'm not seeing it. Is it the same for everyone and how often do they change this?
