Amazing deal find. I do appreciate that it's geofenced to the Greater Los Angeles area so that not too many take advantage here. Thank you OP!

Even for free, I wouldn't get this for my kid! Never in his 13 years have I bought a happy meal or him ask me for one!

Did you ever had a happy meal as a kid? Did it make you happy?

This is more common than you think. That's why they limit drive thru to 2 mobile orders per vehicle. Who pays $12 for a Big Mac meal at regular price when Apple Bees has a better sandwich with fries and drink for $10?

It really is staggering. I have started to wonder how many of those people infesting SD and social media are paid trolls.

A few possibilities come to mind:

-there are way more McD's than Applebees and convenience is a factor

-they don't know about the Applebees deal

-they don't like Applebees, or prefer McD's

-McD's don't actually cost $12 (depending upon location), and are even less if using the app

Yes, I suppose. In my instance, the McDonald's is across the street from Apple Bees. And of course, on time crunch, Mcd's can assemble their meal faster.

It's been a long time since I had an Applebees burger. Is that something you can eat in the car or is it like a Big Mac that is too messy to eat unless you're at a table (or have a bib)? Seems like it would be a car lunch disaster with all the burger salad on it.
