seems you have to decide if the extra presets, and convection are worth the 30 dollar premium over the walmart version.

I have waited for this to go on sale. I have a basket-type air fryer but need one with more real estate. It is also good that it has an upper and lower heating element.
I did the first use 20-minute cook cycle. Temps reached over 800F with my IR thermometer. I tested fries for the first cook.

Redcard makes it $25 difference and some people may have Target Circle deals to make the difference even less.
I have a $15 off $90 making the difference only $10 but I already bought the Walmart one and I don't think I want to go through the trouble of returning it even though the price difference is probably worth it.

I will say the fan is a moving part which makes it a potential point of failure. The Target one has openings in the back for air circulation that seem like they would be difficult to clean if something like flour got back there. I do see some screws so the back might be removable for cleaning even though the manual doesn't say anything about it.

Maybe I'm dense, but wouldn't these ovens (1800W) trip most circuit breakers? Even a 1500W space heater is close to triggering a breaker if there's other stuff on it.

Target one has dual controls, additional functions, and extra accessories. Well worth it for me.

Anyone use this for the air fryer functionality and can comment on it?

I like its large surface and dual heating element. I do not have to flip or toss whatever I am air-frying.

Questions are good!

It's right at the limit. As long as nothing else is being used on the same line. A typical outlet breaker is 120V 15A so 120x15 = 1800w. Also it's not like it's going to be drawing full power the entire time, so if it pre heats to temp (when it'll be using the most power) and you don't start using any appliances on the same breaker at the same time it'll be fine.
