Question about these speakers:
I've heard people say online that Klipsch has a very "bright" sound.
I purchased the RP500M II bookshelf pair, and the tweeters on those are just very muddy and muted.
The only way I got them to sound to my liking was by applying a heavy "Rock" eq to each individual Klipsch sound channel.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
For example, My Polk audio monitor 2 from the 1970s sound way brighter than the klipsch.
I also have some Bic America DV62si that sound way brighter than the klipsch.
The only thing that sounds similar to the klipsch is an old pair of logitech 5.1 speakers.
I did a side by side test between the BIC DV62si and the Klipsch RP500M II, night and day difference in the clarity of the dialog, with dv62si being perfect with a flat EQ.
I don't get why these klipsch are so expensive or what's wrong with my ears, but dialog on the klipsch is extremely muted without the Rock eq.
