Might be better to buy the newer Cosmos 4K SE. that drops to $1099 for renewed

Lower brightness, but newer android TV, certified 4K Netflix and better color etc

Why is newer Android TV and Netflix important when the ONN 4K Pro GoogleTV is only a $50 add-on?

The Cosmos 4K SE also has eArc and Dolby Vision support. Features the older model (laser 4K ) lacks

Throw calculator on projectorcentral shows this and the SE to be pretty limited in terms of placement. Wont work in my dedicated home theater. Maybe portability is the best use case.

Horrible reviews. They are selling mostly unrepaired malfunctioning units( dead pixels etc)

From what I recall, the Cosmos 4k and 4k se have a .47" DMD chip.
I think it's probably best to avoid these and many other 4k projectors for now. There's an epidemic with 4k projectors using that chip. Stuck mirrors/dead pixels (This happened to my Wemax Nova). Look for projectors with a .65" DMD instead.
