I love RPGs. They are my favorite genre. Been playing them for over 30 years. I was very excited about this game, so much so that my girlfriend gifted it to me.
It sucks. It's boring, repetitive, bland, forgettable. I didn't even finish the game. I don't even know where my copy is.
For $7 it's worth the risk, but I do not recommend it. Go play Sea of Stars or Chained Echos if you want an RPG.
Sea of Stars and Chained Echoes are both very different beasts than the one we're looking at here—though they all share the common banner of RPG. That said, I'll offer a resounding show of support for your recommendations of the former pair as they are both charming adventures absolutely worthy of any fan of the genre's time.

The way describe it would be like Skyrim but without the big budget or polish
Early on the game is a little bit slow but once you start to travel to different part of the map the game becomes fun
I made a mage build and had a blast
