I browse Old Navy pretty frequently. The current deals here seem to be pretty average per their normal prices. Many days everything is "50% off" and that's also fairly normal.

Thanks! I agree for the most part, but I also think it depends on what you're buying. I buy a lot of Old Navy t-shirts, which are often excluded from promotions as being everyday steals or something, but these sales seem to have fewer exclusions. The $12.99 tees are now $6.49 if you're a cardholder, which is what I usually buy.
Old Navy is taking Kohl's approach of making everything super expensive, then giving you normal prices via "deals."
Working gangbusters for Kohl's, let's see how it works out for them.
I basically only buy flip flops from them. Nobody else makes flip flops that can last for $2.50 (sale price). Everywhere else is like $9 for rubber ones or dollar tree ones that break instantly.
I have a few old navy t-shirts from 25+ years ago that are on par with American Eagle in quality. Sadly, any T-shirt from old navy made in the last 15 years is pretty terrible. I still buy some occasionally if they are $5 or less

I don't do $20 premium ones for typical use.
